Field Experimentation at Highwood Hills

About the update

Following the successful creation of our research laboratory in Tenafly, Re:Imagine officially launched its first wave of field experimentation at Highwood Hills, one of our partner environmental centers.

Over two intensive days, members dedicated approximately 15 hours each to develop and apply 30 preliminary herbicide formulations designed to combat invasive plant species threatening local biodiversity.

We identified and cleared over a ton of invasive growth across thirty one-square-meter plots. Each plot was treated with its assigned formulation, photographed, mapped, and geolocated for long-term monitoring.

Our team is tracking changes in regrowth, biodiversity, and soil health through laboratory analysis and field observations.
